Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an accelerator and an incubator?
Startup accelerators are cohort-based programs, that include mentorship and educational components and culminate in a public pitch event or demo day. While traditional business incubators are often government-funded, generally take no equity. Unlike business incubators, the application process for startup accelerators is open to anyone but highly competitive.
Incubator programs can be up to 3 years, while accelerators are more likely to fit in everything to 3-5 months. Making it a more fast-paced environment and the perfect opportunity to accelerate your business if you are more early-stage.
How do I apply to your program?
The applications for Spring Batch 2018 will open soon. So stay tuned and sign up to our mailing list!
Do I have to be in the THINK location during the whole 3 months?
You’ll get more out of the program if you have a high attendance and we do recommend being active throughout the three months. We have workshops, mentoring and meetings every week. We give you all the tools you’ll need to take the next step – What you do with it and with your time, is up to you.
What are to costs to relocate to THINK for 3-months?
Do you accept international companies?
Yes, of course! We accept companies from all around the world. We highly believe that diversity and equality makes a better team and business.
My team outsources software development, are we still qualified to apply?
We prefer teams that have tech skill in house. However, it doesn’t automatically disqualify you, get in touch and discuss it with us.
I've sent in my application, when do I hear back from you?
If you’ve made it to Phase 2 in the application process, we will get back to you in 2-3 weeks. For international companies, we will get back to you sooner.
